With the concerted efforts of the school community, our School’s Run for Charity @ 30 promises to be an event that is loaded with fun, something akin to a fair. It would be such a festive affair that waking up very early on May 25 (Sunday) will be well worth it!
Crossing the finish line will certainly be everybody’s goal. It doesn’t matter if one has to walk all the way or even crawl to the finish line. The important thing is to finish the race. On the other hand, top finishers in the different race categories will be entitled to a medal, but all the finishers shall be rewarded with a certificate of participation and loot bag filled with goodies.
Undoubtedly the race is the main event, but there will be other exciting activities as well. Major sponsors will set up booths offering freebies and games with prizes. There will also be a raffle afterwards.
Just to give you an idea, sponsors for loot bag items and raffle prizes include the following:

By the way, additional corporate sponsorships and donations for the fun run are more than welcome. Kindly look for Miss Rosie of the Ways and Means Committee at the Administration Office or Mr. Rikers our PTA treasurer who will gladly accommodate your pledges until June 25, 2013.
So don’t miss the fun on May 25 at Borroughs Stadium. See you at the starting line and hopefully at the finish line as well!
