Letter on Opening of Classes

An advisory letter on what time to arrive and what to bring on the first day of class.

Dear Parents,

I am teacher Eve, faculty member of the Sacred Heart Academy. I would like to apologize if our school advisory is on such short notice. Please be reminded of our opening of classes for first graders is tomorrow instead of September 1. We will still follow the same daily schedule of classes from 10am-3pm.

Your child may wear casual clothes, if he/she has no uniform ready yet. Also have your child bring all his notebooks and school things properly labeled with his/her name on it. This is to avoid any case of loss items.

Thank you very much.

Advisory Letter from School regarding a special Academic Program

A sample school advisory letter regarding a special Academic Program offered at the school such school letters are meant to inform parents of specific subject tutorial classes or afterschool programs.

Dear Parents,

Our Program of Excellence in Mathematics Saturday Sessions for regular students will be held from July 2 to September 3, 2011. It aims to develop interest in Mathematics among elementary and high school students, inculcate mathematical concepts and proficiencies and develop values of hard work, perseverance, honesty and teamwork.

The program is open from Grade 1 to Grade 6 from 1st Year to 4th Year High School. Classes will be from 8:00am to 12nn. Students must attend in complete uniform and with their school ID. There is a fee of $50 for the series of sessions, to be paid on or before July 1, 2011 to the school cashier.

Strict adherence to the deadline is requested to have a smooth flow in organizing classes. Drop-in students prevent classes from starting on time. The fee covers the service of additional Math teachers onboard the program.

Please fill in the “Parent’s reply slip” and have your child return it to the Math teacher on or before June 28, 2011.

Very truly yours,
The Principal
